DISOBEDIENCE: From today's AP wire: The husband of a 70-year-old Alzheimer's patient who vanished while changing planes at a Texas airport in December has sued American Airlines for $10 million.

Not to make light, but upon reading this item my permanent neural connections fired up this verse about missing persons:
J.J.
M.M.
W.G.Du P.
Took great
C/0 his M*****
Though he was only 3.
J.J. said to his M*****
"M*****," he said, said he:
"You-must-never-go-down-to-the-end-of-the-town-
if-you-don't-go-down-with-ME!"

big apple blog bash; click for details

I'm afraid I'm just too preoccupied with extra-blogurical matters lately, so I'll have to give this one a miss. Enjoy, all.

(Maybe, at least -- dare I hope? -- could I, just this once, be so full of myself? -- someone will at least notice that I was a no-show and wonder why.)

Sgt.Stryker's muse has fled.

Is this the fate of Mind Over What Matters as well?

It's been a rough couple of weeks. But the drought is nearly over.

Stay tuned...
